FOR THE LOVE OF ANNE

Anne believed that humans have their own responsibility, collectively and individually, to make the world a better place. Her heart was with disadvantaged people or outcast animals. Thus in lieu of flowers, Anne would appreciate a donation in her name to any of the following organizations:

Red Cross Nordic United World College (Norway)

United World College of the Adriatic (Italy - special page for Anne)

Randolph County Animal Shelter (Alabama)

Thanks to everyone.

You are right, Anne: you are not very far, you will remain in our hearts.
Jean-Paul: Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Miriam, Eric and Jean-Paul,
I am really sad to hear about Anne's passing on Sunday. Anne was such a sweet, kind, caring person and I had formed a special bond with her, with my own recent cancer treatment struggles. She was greatly supportive and I felt I had one more cheerleader on my side to help me pull through this.

I lost my own mom to cancer 6 years ago and still miss her every day. I know how hard it is to lose a mom...

Please know that my thoughts are with you guys. Sending much love and hugs.
Maureen

Planting rosemary ('There's rosemary, that's for remembrance....') in the garden at Evenley for dearest Anne today, and will be thinking of all of you at the commemoration tonight (time difference notwithstanding!).
